Indoor Lap Swimming in Waco
Stay active with swimming — a lifelong sport!
Enjoy convenient indoor lap swimming at Swim Waco with an affordable monthly membership the whole year-round. Lap swim is available for adults and teens ages 14+. Swimmers ages 14–17 must be accompanied by an adult.
After-hours lap swim is unstaffed. No lifeguard is on duty. For your safety, swimming with a buddy is highly recommended.

Lap Swim Hours
Membership includes access to the pool during designated unstaffed hours:
- Monday – Friday: 4am-8am; 8pm-11pm.
- Saturday: 4am-8:30am
- Sunday: Closed
Water Aerobics
Water Aerobics classes are lead by an independent instructor with 15+ years of experience. Classes meet:
- Mondays & Tuesdays from 2:30pm-3:30pm
- Fridays from 2pm-3pm
Membership Requirements
- Active Swim Waco members ages 14+ who have completed the required safety orientation.
- Members ages 14–17 must be accompanied while in the facility during unstaffed hours by either an adult member (18+) or their parent/legal guardian. The accompanying adult must complete the required safety orientation. A parent/legal guardian does not need a membership when present solely to supervise but may not use the pool unless they are also an active member.
- Only Adult members or the parent/legal guardian of a Members ages 14–17 will be given door access. Not the teen.
- A parent/legal guardian who is not a member may enter solely to supervise their child but may not use the pool.
Membership Pricing
Monthly Memberships
– Lap Swim: $25/month- – Water Aerobics + Lap Swim: $33/month
- – Additional Family Members: $10/month per person (ages 14+ living in the same household)
Annual Door Access Fee
A $35 annual fee applies to each member requesting an individual door access code for Lap Swimming.
Water Aerobics members who do not request Lap Swim door access are exempt from the annual fee.
All Water Aerobics memberships include Lap Swim access at no additional monthly charge. Members who wish to use Lap Swim outside of scheduled Water Aerobics classes will need to request door access and pay the $35 annual fee.

Procedures
- Sign up online (or in person) for your individual or family membership
- Schedule your mandatory in-person safety orientation. You can come anytime Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm for this, or if you need a different time, please contact our office: 254-300-1728.
- After the safety orientation – members will get a unique code for door access during those hours. Smart phone needed for door access. The building will not be staffed. Access may never be shared and ONLY members are allowed during open swim time.

Will there be more daytime hours added?We hope so, overtime! Once we get all settled and in a rhythm with our new building, we’d love to find some space to add more daytime options. Stay tuned!

Can my younger children join our family membership?At this time, we are just doing ages 14 and up! Since we only have lap swim opportunities during unstaffed hours right now, we are keeping it limited to teenagers and adults just for overall safety purposes.
